Severed Hand Synthesizer
I built a synthesizer out of a fake severed arm!
Arduino code written by Peter Knight: https://code.google.com/archive/p/tin...
Skate Harp:
Guzheng (Chinese Harp) made from an old skateboard deck and electrified with piezo pickups.
The music in the background was recorded on the Skate Harp that is being built in the video.
Motion Sensor MIDI Controller & Looper
2 ultrasound sensors and an old playstation controller.
The ultrasound sensors control delay and reverb.
Joysticks provide an X/Y axis, capable of controlling 2 separate MIDI paramerters.
Light Sensor MIDI Controller
A light dependant resistor (LDR), another old playstation joystick and a potentiometer.
Baked Beans Tin
Instrument
A “Merztin” made from a baked beans tin and a bunch of old guitar stings plaited together.
By putting one hand on the tin and the other on the strings, the circuit is complete and sound is generated.
The the stronger the grip on the strings, the higher the pitch.
Arduino FM Synthesizer : Auduino
Synthesizer built from an Arduino, based on an Open Source design from Tinker.it:

Motion Sensor MIDI Controller (continued 1)
More ultrasound madness. This time using Ableton’s Resonator, Vocoder and Vowel Filter.
Motion Sensor MIDI Controller (continued 2)
Early experiments in ultrasound, mangling Stravinsky.
